1. Who We Are
PharmaBill ("PharmaBill", "we", "us") operates pharmabill.in and the PharmaBill OS desktop software. Registered in India. Contact: hello@pharmabill.in.
2. Data This Website Collects
- Form submissions — name, phone, email, pharmacy/hospital name, city and message you submit via contact or demo forms. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Newsletter email — used only to send the newsletter; unsubscribe in one click.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, for traffic, behaviour and usability statistics (on by default; you can switch them off).
- Download logs — file name, timestamp and approximate location for release planning.
3. Data the PharmaBill OS Software Collects
Your business data (items, sales, patients, customers) is stored exclusively on your own computer in a local SQLite database. It is never uploaded to us. Optional cloud backups are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before upload — we cannot read them. Any telemetry is privacy-preserving, opt-in, and captures zero patient health information (PHI).
4. How Data Is Stored and Protected
Website form data is stored in our secure CRM/email systems and retained for 24 months. Software data stays on your machine. Backups are encrypted client-side. Access to enquiry data is limited to support and sales staff.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics 4 / Plausible (website analytics)
- Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, anonymised)
- Razorpay / Cashfree (payments — we never see your card details)
- WhatsApp Business (messages you choose to send us)
- Zoho Mail (transactional email)
6. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and marketing cookies help us measure traffic and improve the site. They are switched on when you click Accept All, or when you keep browsing after seeing the cookie notice without choosing. If you click Reject Non-Essential (or switch them off in Manage Preferences), they stay off. You can change your choice anytime from Cookie settings in the footer; your choice is remembered for 6 months.
7. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Write to hello@pharmabill.in and we will respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
8. Children’s Data
Our services are designed for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
