Batch traceability for drug recalls
When a recall notice arrives, produce the full batch trail in seconds.
Step by Step
- Open Reports → Batch Traceability.
- Enter the recalled batch number.
- View every invoice and customer that received it — with dates.
- Export the list for your regulatory response.
When You Need It
When a manufacturer or regulator recalls a batch, you must stop selling it, find the stock you hold and contact customers who bought it. The traceability report does the searching for you.
The Four-Step Response
- Freeze — quarantine the batch on the shelf.
- Trace — enter the batch number and list every invoice and customer.
- Notify — contact customers, starting with high-risk products.
- Document — keep the notice, the trace report and return or destruction records.
FAQ
- Does it work for loose-tablet sales? Yes. Loose sales record the batch they came from.
- How long should I keep recall records? At least as long as your sale records and H1 register — three years is a sensible minimum.
