Schedule H1 Register for Drug Inspector audits
The tamper-evident register inspectors ask for — printable in 30 seconds.
Step by Step
- H1 dispensing is captured automatically when scheduled drugs are billed.
- Each entry records patient, drug, batch, doctor and dispensing pharmacist.
- Open Reports → Schedule H1 Register and pick the date range.
- Export to Excel or print — entries are kept for the 3 years the Drugs Rules require.
What the Register Must Contain
Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, every Schedule H1 supply is recorded in a separate register at the time of supply, with the name and address of the prescriber, the name of the patient, the name of the drug and the quantity supplied. The register is kept for three years and must be open for inspection.
What PharmaBill Adds
- Batch number and expiry of the strip dispensed.
- Invoice number, so every entry links to a sale.
- The dispensing pharmacist, taken from the pharmacist login.
- An optional prescription photo on the invoice.
When the Inspector Visits
- Print the register for the period requested.
- Walk through one entry end to end: register → invoice → prescription → purchase record of that batch.
- Run Reports → Batch Traceability for any H1 batch to show every patient who received it.
