Exporting and importing data (.pharmabill files)
Full-portability archives with SHA-256 integrity verification.
Step by Step
- Settings → Data → Export creates a .pharmabill archive.
- The archive carries a SHA-256 checksum for integrity.
- On the new PC: install PharmaBill, then drag-and-drop the archive to restore.
- Excel/CSV import is available for items, suppliers and customers.
When to Use an Export
- Moving to a new computer.
- Keeping an offline copy on a USB drive.
- Giving your accountant or auditor a complete copy.
Good to Know
Each archive carries a checksum, so a damaged or tampered file is detected before it is restored. Your data is always yours: you can export it at any time, even after a subscription ends. Items, suppliers and customers can also be imported from Excel or CSV templates.
